Draft 05/04/05 Meeting Minutes

Visitors: Josh Brown, Bruce Benish

President Eric Matthews called the meeting to order at 7:03.

The next meeting will be June 1, 2005 at 7:00 at the Sheshequin Township Building.

Approval of minutes: A Grenier/Sheffler motion was passed to accept the April minutes.

Public comment and questions: None.

Communications: None.

Old Business: Former old business regarding address dropped by consensus.

Road Plan: No update.

New Business:
· Jay Wenger Subdivision presented by Bruce Benish. Subdivision is cutting off slightly over 10 acres (lot 2) rom a parcel of about 166 acres (lot 1) which contains an existing house, well, and septic on lot 2. A proposal to recommend to the Sheshequin Township Supervisors to accept the subdivision was made by Smith/Sheffler and passed.

Comprehensive Plan: We have added the comp plan agenda to the meeting minutes. For April:

  The township map - infrared version - made by a flyover. Josh shared the "population component" section of the plan - it had some interesting trends. Josh asked for ideas for the "history" section. He will bring samples from some other comp plans for our study at the May meeting.
